Yesterday she got her award!
In 12 inches heels with Mint-Green-of-envy-hair and wearing a couture-creature-gown from MUGLER bigger then the blue banana she received her award as Fashion Icon of the year at CDFA (Council of Fashion Designers of America)...
In her acceptance speech she thanked (of course) all the Monsters but she also made it clear that Fashion is not only about money and the right combination...
“I just wanted to tell you how much this award means to young American people,”...
“My fans, some of them don’t know who they are and they have so much trouble. They come to the Monster Ball to find who they are and they wake up in the morning and it’s that leather jacket that makes them feel like they can be anyone. Or it’s that YSL blazer that they saw in the window that makes them feel like they could be president one day. Fashion means so much to them. It’s really hard to talk about … I always felt like I had made it before I had made it because of all of you, because it was all of you that made me feel like I was a star.” - Lady Gaga
During her speech Mother Monster told the crowd that she found out about her winning the award through a text message from
Vogue’s Editor in Chief -
Anna Wintour.
Mistaking The Divined Wintour for another Anna (
Gaga's assistant), she texted back:
“Yes, b*tch, we did it!”
Wintour replied: “How lovely.”

So - To sum it up...
Lady Gaga IS about to conquer the world - Music, Money and Fashion...
It all revolves around her at point - With her Born This Way breaking all records (Including Fastest selling album on iTunes, most 1s# and 1 millions copies sold - Outsold the other 44 alubms on US Billboard chart) She really keeps riding the wave...
And of course I'm saying this a a dedicated Monster...!
